Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a rustic charm, with rooms located in the cottage outside the main building. The room was small, with minimal storage, but the service and location made up for it. The dining was pleasant, highlighted by the delicious bacon, and the facilities were adequate for a cozy stay.
My stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was light, large, and comfortable with a beautiful view of the garden and village. However, it smelled stale as if someone had been smoking, and the shower room was very tiny and difficult to maneuver in. The staff were all friendly and welcoming but service required in the evenings to ensure customers are served within a reasonable wait time. The location is fantastic on top of the hill, perfect for walking and cycling with stunning views of the Cotswold hills. The dining experience offered a nice selection, but the dining room was a bit cramped. Overall, a great place with a few minor room issues.
The hotel sits in some beautiful hills, ideal for tranquil walks and overlooking a picturesque valley. The rooms were amazing, flooded with space and light, though a mix-up led to a smaller bed than booked. The service was exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Dining was fabulous, offering a great variety of fresh and tasty options. The quaint 'olde worlde' country inn ambiance added charm, yet the garden suite requires attention.
